An Electrical Installation Condition Report (EICR) is a report carried out to assess the safety of the existing electrical installation within a property. This is carried out through a series of tests and visual inspections. This will highlight any defects, faults or potential dangers in the current electrical installation.
New regulations that came into place 01 June 2020 require landlords to have the electrical installations in their properties inspected at least every 5 years.
